IDS has had several years developing and maintaining applications within the IBM mainframe world. Our personnel have
worked on DOS/VSE and MVS operating systems using both COBOL and Assembler.
We have recently performed maintenance tasks for companies that needed short term
assistance in completing their projects on time. Our Assembler experience with macro
creation, may be from a time gone by but to some companies it is solid gold.
Our rate is dependent upon the length of the job and the type of work required.
We can quote a project based upon an hourly rate or a fixed cost for the entire

System 370 Assembler
We have several years experience utilizing S370/Assembler from an application development
approach to systems internals maintenance, we have the experience necessary to provide
that all important support that other companies simply dream about.
Mainframe ANSI COBOL
IDS has developed and maintained several mainframe applications using the COBOL
language. We have developed on both DOS/VSE and MVS platforms. Most of our recent
work using mainframe COBOL was centered around the Y2K initiative.
Micro Focus COBOL Contract Services
IDS has been developing and maintaining Client Server applications
written in Micro Focus COBOL 1986. We started with simple mainframe systems conversions
and expanded into assisting several companies with their Y2K efforts. Although the
need for this service has deminished, we still maintain our profecience in the area.
Most of our Micro Focus COBOL applications have used either MicroFocus Indexed files
or SQL Server databases. Most applications are larger, batch stype applications
mormally seen on larger mainframes.
