IDS has been designing database
schemas since 1990 when SQL Server first started becoming a "real" relational database.
We have designed database structures to house collections of data ranging from a
few thousand items to over 100 million.
We have always designed to the third level of normalization where we believe that the payoff between data structure and performance are at an optium.
We have included in these design efforts several Stored Procedures, Views and Data
Accell Layers (DAL) for 3-tier development. We do not perform the job functions
of a database administrator but do help in creating an efficient design, tuneing
a data structure and implementing a DAL level.
Our rate is dependent upon the length of the job and the type of work required.
We can quote a project based upon an hourly rate or a fixed cost for the entire
